ABOUT DER HAROUTUNIAN GALLERY
The Der Haroutunian Gallery is a brand-new art gallery which offers art collectors a unique opportunity to access the distinctive artworks of a carefully curated group of artists, both British and International. Whilst the reputation of some of the artists we represent is long-established, others are on the cusp of wider critical and public recognition, their burgeoning reputations beginning to flourish beyond the realms of local acclaim and regional art exhibitors.
Owner and gallerist, Raffi Der Haroutunian, is the creative force behind the new concept. Having graduated with a degree in Art History, he spent a decade honing his craft at Collect Art in Lymm, one of the North of England’s leading purveyors of Modern British art, prior to opening Blackmore Gallery (www.blackmoregallery.com) his own successful gallery, which specialises in contemporary ceramics and sculpture. In garnering a wealth of knowledge and experience working alongside a range of artists, he has successfully sourced art over many years for discerning clients looking to prudently improve and enhance their own collections.

The Der Haroutunian Gallery seeks to be innovative and aims to showcase to art collectors a dynamic range of Contemporary Art with an emphasis on an eclectic group of international artists, the work of whom transcends overfamiliar description or easily identifiable tropes and motifs. As such, it is our belief that the original work showcased by the gallery represents a singular opportunity to source fresh and progressive work by a group of exceptional artists whom we are delighted to represent.
